Musicians, actors and athletes respond to police killing of George Floyd

In the horrific death of George Floyd in the hands of police in Minneapolis—all ten minutes of which were captured by a 17-year-old girl on her cellphone—musicians, actors and athletes are donation morning and calling for action.  Beyoncéis urging people to sign petitions. CardiB is speaking out on YouTube, Twitter and Instagram. Seth Rogen, Abbi Jacobson, and Steve Carell are a few of the stars who’ve donated to Minnesota protesters.

LeBron James shared a photo of the officer kneeling on Floyd’s neck side-by-side with a photo of Kaepernick kneeling during the anthem and this caption:

The sad question remains, ‘even with this, can things change?’
