COVID 19: Ontario’s disastrous third wave

(April 16, 2021) In a disastrous third wave, if current trends continue, Ontario could see well over 18,000 new daily COVID-19 infections by the end of May — despite continuing vaccinations — CBC News has learned from a government source. Health-care workers say the government didn’t listen and its slow reactions may have cost lives.

Ontario could see well over 18,000 new daily COVID-19 infections — despite continuing vaccinations — if current trends continue. Health Minister Christine Elliott said this week that the province is trying to open up hundreds of additional ICU beds in coming days and weeks.
